About Etisense

Etisense is a French biomedical engineering company based in Lyon thats develops and commercialises physiological monitoring instruments for laboratory animals. It was originally born from research at the TIMC-IMAG laboratory at the Grenoble-Alpes University, where a multidisciplinary team of scientists specialising in physiology and signal processing laid the groundwork. The company was founded on the core belief that monitoring should be simple, non-invasive, and tailored to the requirements of ethical and modern research.

Since day one, Etisense has been pushing the boundaries of physiological monitoring. This ongoing commitment to improvement has resulted in product ranges that seamlessly integrate cutting-edge textile engineering, high-performance sensors and electronics, sophisticated signal processing algorithms, and intuitive software built on the latest web technologies.

Moreover, we firmly believe that achieving truly impactful physiological monitoring requires a comprehensive, global approach. For this reason, we actively welcome and encourage collaborations, combining our expertise with yours to bring your most ambitious projects to fruition. Let’s innovate together!

Chronological evolution of Etisense from 2018 to today

Our mission at Etisense is to revolutionize physiological monitoring through innovative connected textiles. That’s why we aim to extend the reach of this technology across a broad spectrum of applications, from animal and preclinical research to veterinary medicine and ultimately, human health and well-being.

Success and innovation come through collaboration. Let’s talk!

Co-development Partnerships

2024-2025 – Etisense join forces with Marshall BioResources in the development of an innovative telemetry jacket for Beagle dogs to be used in pharmacology, safety studies and toxicology assessment, as well as in veterinary medecine.

2023 – We collaborates with ERBC Group in the development of DECRO for marmosets, an highly attractive model for preclinical in vivo pharmacology, safety studies and toxicology assessment.

2020Charles River participates in the development of DECRO for the study of cardiac and respiratory functions in juvenile minipigs for toxicology studies.

2019Sanofi Safety-Pharmacology department and Etisense signed a co-development partnership agreement to test, give improvement input and validate scientifically DECRO in their environment.
